Scripture & Prayer

• Biblical sermons, based on scripture readings that we read together

• Joys & concerns are voluntarily shared weekly, followed by prayer; people are prayed for by name and situation

• Service opens with prayer and closes with a blessing

Music

• Blend of contemporary praise music and traditional hymns-neither is held up as being better than the other

• Words are projected on screens for all songs.  Hymnals are available at your seat for hymn music, if desired.

• Beautiful organ and piano

• Praise band (acoustic, bass guitar, electric guitar, drums, piano, and singers)

Family atmosphere

• CHILDREN ARE WELCOME!

• Nursery and Sunday School for children are both available during worship.  We ask parents to accompany their children to nursery for now.  We follow social distancing recommendations for Sunday School.

• All ages are valued and important

Dress

• Come as you are!  

• We have people who come in their Sunday best and people who come comfortably in jeans and a T-shirt.

• Hearing amplification devices are available, including a necklace style that can tap right into hearing aids capable of receiving the signal.

• Speakers arranged front and rear of the sanctuary to maximize sound.

• During announcements, music, scripture readings, sermon, and prayer times, the speaker ALWAYS speaks into a microphone to help all hear.

• We have a room for parents who need a space to feed/change a baby or have some private parental time.  

• The door locks. 

• A TV in the room displays what is on the screens in the sanctuary, as well as sending sound from the sanctuary.

• Take care of the baby without missing worship time!

• Handicap parking streetside, right in front of the church.

• Ramp from street to sidewalk, with a railing.

• Entry ramp from sidewalk to  church entry for wheelchairs/scooters/walkers.

• Ample space to park power chairs, wheelchairs, and walkers right in the sanctuary-right up front or halfway to the back.

• Elevator between levels
