What's Happening
Adult Bible Study- Sunday nights beginning June 26th.
Reading the Bible Well: A study series that
is meant to encourage healthy habits for reading, understanding, and
applying the truth of scripture to our lives, and to talk about ways we
can orient our reading of scripture so that we are both more aware of
the challenges we face and are better able to navigate them as 21st
century readers of an ancient text. Each week we survey a different kind
of literature contained within scripture (Epistle, Narrative, Gospel,
Parable, Law, Prophecy, Psalms, etc.) and, using scriptural examples,
identify how we can fully engage the riches of the God-given text. This study series is based from the book How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth and is led by Rev. Caleb Matthews. Come join us Sunday nights beginning June 26th at 6:30pm. |
